Scholarship and Financial Assistance

The EGR Music Boosters supports the continuing education of students outside of the classroom in our music through two programs - Outstanding Senior Musician Scholarship Award and Continuing Music Education Financial Assistance. Information about each of the programs can be found below.

Outstanding Senior Musician scholarship Award

Each year, a scholarship is awarded to one student in each of the three music programs - band, choir, and orchestra. Those students graduating in the spring that have been enrolled in music at EGRPS for all four years of high school are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Students interest in applying for this award in 2024 should review this application form and submit their application as indicated in this form.

continuing music education financial assistance

The EGR Music Boosters encourages all music students to continue their music education through opportunities outside of the school year. Up to 50% of the cost of the program, not to exceed $150 per person is awarded through this program. This might be through summer music camps, private instruction, or other similar programs. Applications for 2024 are due May 10th. Current 6th-11th grade music students planning to enroll in music in fall of the following year are eligible to apply. In addition, students must have generated at least $25 in sales or donations through the ham sale fundraiser to be eligible for these funds.  These funds are not applicable for summer band camp. The amount of the assistance is dependent on the number of applicants. If qualified, you will receive an email acknowledgement with the amount awarded, and further instructions for accepting your award. Funds received must be used by December 15 of the year in which they are awarded.
