The EGR Music Boosters supports the continuing education of students outside of the classroom in our music through two programs - Outstanding Senior Musician Scholarship Award and Continuing Music Education Financial Assistance. Information about each of the programs can be found below. 

Each year, the music boosters award scholarhips to seniors that have participated in music programs for their four years of high school. More information about 2025 scholarships will be posted in January, 2025. 

The EGR Music Boosters encourages all music students to continue their music education through opportunities outside of the school year. Up to 50% of the cost of the program, not to exceed $150 per person is awarded through this program. This might be through summer music camps, private instruction, or other similar programs. Applications for 2025 are due April 14th. Current 6th-11th grade music students planning to enroll in music in fall of the following year are eligible to apply. In addition, students must have generated at least $25 in sales or donations through the ham sale fundraiser to be eligible for these funds.  These funds are not applicable for summer band camp. The amount of the assistance is dependent on the number of applicants. If qualified, you will receive an email acknowledgement with the amount awarded, and further instructions for accepting your award. Funds received must be used by December 15 of the year in which they are awarded.
